Presently, I am employed with Worldlink. Here, I am in charge of online webservers running Apache. I also oversee a NT server running IIS and mostly hosting ASP pages. There are pleothera for database backends available ranging from Mysql to Mssql to PostgreSQL to Oracle.

My career started as an freelance application programmer. Before joining Wlink, I co-wrote a 'store mgmt. system' for a Pharmaceutical house of a private hospital. I joined Wlink on the August of 2005 (August 15 I think). I started there as an Oracle Programmer. Slowly I got bored of writing PL/SQL codes and developing Oracle applications. Then, I decided to change tracks and thus lobbied myself and joined the Systems Department of Wlink. Now I have worked on the same place for the last 2 and 1/2 years. In this time, I have transformed myself from a Open Source novice to a highly competent Systems Programmer and an Administrator. From simple bash scripts to complicated and intoxicating Perl programs to LDAP to Version Control, I have championed them all. Interested?
